someone up there doesn’t like me.
it’s as if i haven’t gone through enough for the day, my internet connection decides to fail on me.
i’m just glad Optusnet has a 24hr help service. and that the person was so patient.
but bugger, i had to walk up down so many times because my laptop is downstairs, while my modem is upstairs. @#%#$^
and one of the remedy was to poke a pin at the back of the modem?????
like, what the hell?
you mean people go to uni, to learn how to poke a pin in the back of the modem to get the connection to work?
(it didn’t work btw)
another remedy was to remove all phone lines.
still didn’t work.
another was to change phone lines.
that worked.
i’m still wondering if it is the phone line, or my ethernet cable.
oh well. it’s working now.
